St Ives

A visit to St Ives is a must if you are on holiday in Cornwall. Picturesque cobbled streets, harbour and beaches make this a popular tourist destination. Regular buses leave every 30 minutes between Hayle and St Ives and if you are feeling energetic why not take the coast path for one journey and catch the bus back! This way you will really get to see the Hayle Estuary with its teeming birdlife as you follow the coastpath.

Buses leave approximately every 30 minutes between Hayle and St Ives. Alternatively you can take the train – alight at St Erth and take the scenic branch line to St Ives.

Gwithian
Gwithian is a pretty village close to the Towans, Gwithian Beach and Godrevy Head and just a short bus journey away from Hayle.

Portreath

Portreath, the next main settlement up the coast can be reached by foot along the coastal footpath (6 miles) with beautiful scenery as you pass Godrevy Head and the Knavocks. Buses leave hourly between Portreath and Hayle so you can enjoy the journey in either direction.

Truro
This cathedral city and historic market centre is a Cornwall’s only city and attracts tourists and people from all over the county. A regular hourly bus service runs between Truro and Hayle.
